This week’s Lottie Moon promotion from Kenya is being sent early so that
you will receive it before Thanksgiving Day. This timing is important as your IMB missionaries in the Central Corridor Cluster have a special thank you to share with those of you who support us through your prayers, giving and service.
Last year’s Lottie Moon Christmas Offering funded a greatly needed spiritual retreat for our staff this past weekend, November 21-23, 2008. During one prayer session, each person shared how he/she are, have been, or will be "God's fellow worker" (1 Corinthians 3:9), "Christ's ambassador" (2 Corinthians 5:20), "Loved by God" (1 John 4:10), "Upheld by God's Hand" (Isaiah 41:10), and/or a "Worker in his harvest field" thanks to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.
Their answers, lots of pictures from the “Renew my Heart” Spiritual Retreat at Brackenhurst, special notes of thanks written by our Missionary Kids (MKs), plus a few pictures sharing what turns even the oldest missionary into a kid are shared at Thanks to Lottie , a blog found at http://thankstolottiekenya.blogspot.com/ .
